 The Graphics.com Philter Phrenzy

Each Philter Phrenzy is based on free or commercial Adobe Photoshop-compatible plugins, actions or brushes. Such add-ons provide a wide range of options to automate or extend what's possible within Photoshop-compatible applications.

To participate, begin by downloading and installing the current plugins, actions or brushes and then experiment to see what they're capable of and how you can best employ them within either an original work of your own, or one you have permission to submit. At the end of each round the entries will be judged by Graphics.com staff, with three that we feel best make use of the capabilities of the monthly add-on, in the context of the image, being selected as winners. The creators of the three winning images will receive one year of access to the Graphics.com/Learning video training library. The three winners will also receive copies of the add-on, if there is a commercial version, or another commercial add-on or product from the developer, if one is available.

Graphics.com/Learning
Graphics.com/Learning is an online educational resource for design professionals, offering video tutorials on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and Dreamweaver, in addition to content dealing with common digital and print projects (marketing emails, web banners, stationery, etc.) and creativity in general. Graphics.com/Learning instructors are knowledgeable creative professionals who also often have years of teaching experience. Subscribers are provided with unlimited access to the library, which is updated weekly and now offers 100 videos on such topics as From Design to Pre-Press, Smart Designer/Client Contracts and 5 Photoshop Tools You Didn't Know Existed. Sample videos are available to provide a sense of the quality and diversity of the library.
